Where do we even start??
Well it has been a crazy month, here is a list of whats happened in the wild month of June:
-I moved back to “Gods Town” (Cleveland) to start a new job, still with same company (it was not easy saying goodbye, thank the lord its only temporary until D moves up here!)
-Doreen has visited a few times and prepares herself for her mother to visit for a few weeks in July! They have seen so much the past few years, they are thinking Little Rock this year…..
-WE are building a house in Avon, Ohio! Seriously, do we have to pay property taxes? It was a blast picking upgrades out after finally deciding the cabinets! The house should be done around early October. We are very excited and could write for days on this subject.
-Have spent some good quality time with Ashley and Damon’s baby, Alta. She is as cute as a button and always smiling and giggling. She has wonderful parents, we look forward to living so close to them! More memories and giggles coming soon….
-D and I took a little visit to Chicago to visit the Mann clan. Boy, did we have a wonderful time with Cayden and Maddy (Nic and Matt too!). I think Cayden liked the German chocolate that D brought him (see pic) and Maddy was always happy to give hugs and play (see pic), shes going to be a heartbreaker. We cant wait to see them again soon!
-While in Chicago close to Navy Pier, Doreen said “YES” to the question “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” OHHH I AM THE LUCKIEST MAN IN THE WORLD! 
We are still deciding on a date and location so please look back to the blog soon for updates! Again, I am the luckiest man in the world!
To say the least, we have been very busy, however, the stars have aligned! If you are wondering why we named our blog “atthepool” there is a simple answer. Many people ask the question where did you two meet? And the answer is ”at the pool”, so there it is. That’s where it all begun… Also, we plan on using this blog to keep people informed of our wedding plans, house updates, and of course about what is going on in the GerMann world. We cant wait to start blogging. Here are a few pictures of the past couple weeks……ENJOY!
